I'd very much like to do that -- but I feel I'd really want to do a good job. Something that really takes you through the full process.
I've even been asked to do DVD's in the past, but always was a bit hesitant, as those are usually pretty highly priced. Most of which goes to the "publisher" and not me anyhow...
That said, I've been wondering what the 'magic' price point is under which you'd consider buying such a DVD. If it gets pirated, no one wins, so I'd rather make it as affordable as possible...
Any thoughts?
***EDIT: If you got DVD production experience (especially flash authoring), or know how to set up a pay-to-download video on a website, I'd love to talk to you -- please email me!

As far as actual price goes, I'd say that probably between 20 and 30 dollars would be good. I'm thinking of the urge to pirate here, not of how great you are (because...ya know...I'd spend a good deal more just because you're rad).
Wow...I don't know if this was helpful at all. I'm glad you're considering doing this though!

It's just a walk on the sand...
conceptart.org have that whole digital download thing going at the moment and those seem to be a good conveinient way to get videos out for a decent price. Having not brought one myself i dont really know what youre getting for the $14-$20... your call there.
Good luck with it, will be nice to see..
but you're right, the publisher gets everything.
20?
